How to make the hook ball in bowling

is it depend on the ball or just on the way of your throwing?give your opinion

I believe it's all in the wrist action.

I used to always throw a hooked ball when I bowled. Then somebody told me if I kept my wrist straight I would quit doing that and get a more accurate throw. It worked for me:-) I don't think the ball really has that much to do with it, unless it's way too heavy for you, or possibly too light. Too heavy is awkward, and hard on the wrist, I know if I pick a ball that's too heavy for me I never throw straight and almost always hook it. I'm not a bowling expert by any means, but the trick I was told about keeping the wrist straight, and not twisting it upon releasing the ball, helped me improve a lot. Hope that helps some...
