Does it matter what college you go to?

A recent study says that whether you go to Harvard or Wisconsin University, it may not affect your ultimate job or how much you earn. In fact, the majority of CEO's who make large salaries did not come from any of the Ivy League Schools, our oldest and most "prestigious" universities. I don't know if the study was well designed or not, it doesn't matter. The question is still legitimate. Should anyone pay the high cost of these private schools for their children (or allow them to go into significant debt) when the eventual payoff is likely not there? What do y'all think?

From my experience i can say that it does not matter which college you join. I can say that as long as you have talent and hard working nature it does not matter.

If your future boss is ignorant and only hires people based on what school they went to, rather than really analyzing who is the better candidate for the job, you probably don't want to work for them anyways. If you can prove what you are the best at what you do, you will usually always get the job. I think college reputations help, but the times have changed.
