How do you feel about shopping online? Do you find everything that you really need or do you find yourself looking for everything else besides what you wanted?

I don't like shopping online because I am afraid my personal information such as credit card number will be stolen and used to make purchases without my knowledge. I know everyone says online purchase is very secured nowsadays, but hackers will manage to find a way to retrieve the information they want. Why take chances?

Heres a idea you can use and this is what I do. I purchased a prepaid credit card and when I'm ready to buy online I reload the card with money and spend that but leave money on the card so it doesn't expire. That way if it gets stolen by hackers it won't be much on the card. I only use it for online purchases for that purpose.

If I am browsing in Lane Bryant or Brylane, I start out looking for the items I went there for, but sometimes buy something else. I'm usually pretty good at sticking to a small purchase, though. What is hard for me is if I'm in half.com or amazon.com and get carried away looking at books to read! I love to buy books!

I stick to what I'm shopping for because I never just browse online shops looking for something. When I go to buy something online I know exactly what I'm looking for and often where the best place to get it is from reviews and research. I usually find what I need, but since I buy my college textbooks online I don't always find the edition I want in the condition I want it so I have to resort to using the school book store and don't buy those books online.
