Smoking for pleasure or Style?

I smoke sometimes.Just for style.

I don't smoke & I don't like smoking. I have tried to take a puff & it almost killed me! Gosh, it was choking! I believe many people smoke because they think it's cool. Especially youngsters these days, the perceive that it's cool to tell others they smoke.

I have the feeling that it's more to do with style rather than the pleasure or comfort because there is no comfort associated with it rather it is uncomfortable to many who are around you

Well i don`t smoke..But i think most people do it for pleasure rather than just for style

well many people says that everybody start smoking as style and after sometime it become his habit but this statementis right for many smokers but not for all the smokers. because many people started smoking in their bad time of life due to tentions. Yes I am a smoker I started it as a style and slowly slowly it become my habit and now I am a chain smoker Now I smoke for relief from tentions and dipression I dont think that anybody smoke for pleature coz it have no pleature but it is a thing which gives u relief from tention for sometime

I dont want to discuss this discussion because i never smoked in my life so i am unfit to comment on smoking

Guess what , i once ask a friend of mine , why he smokes? He say i smoke because my idol smoke also , i guess it is because of bad influence and peer presure yea

Well I admit,at first I just do it for show,because all my friends were smoking too.If I'm not mistake I was 12 years old. I wasn't addicted to smoking instantly but eventually I cannot live without it.Its always a pleasure to smoke.

Well I guess I dont smoke for either pleasue nor style. It is a habbit that I have picked up over the years and now I just smoke cause I have to. I would love to get my self rid of this habbit one day for sure. So as a summary I just smoke because I am hooked onto it, neither for style and nor for pleasure.

I smoke. And I enjoy it. After all, I only have the one bad habit. Well, maybe two....okay 3.

to be honest i started it as a style that would suit my personality but now it is a habbit

i smoke just to sow off.. otherwise.. i hate smoking.. i smoke only on that day whose name ends with "Y"... heheeh like.. sunda'y', monda'y'.... but i hate smoking.. :-( this world makes me smoke.. suttaaaaaaa.

i started smoking because all my group of friends are smoking as well...LOL...and when you go clubbing, it's really easy to pick up smoking...i started out with being a social smoker...but it turned into professional in a matter of time...but im trying to quit ...

usually people start it to show offf... but than it becomes their habit... it goes same for every one... no one intentionally starts smoking for pleasure... as how would u know the pleasure of smoking when u r non smoker...!

I started smoking when I was 12 years old. A variety of reasons for me. I was rebelling (I was the "perfect" daughter who never got into trouble), peer pressure, and the simple fact that my whole family smokes and it was what I was used to be around. That being said...after awhile, I only smoked because I HAD TO. It's an addiction. For the last 17 years, smoking has become my emotional crutch; it also cures boredom...LOL However, I am currently going on 37 hours SMOKE FREE! :D Which is probably why I am responding to posts about smoking...dang, these nicotine fits are crazy...
