Would you use your influence to get a good job or work hard to earn it?

I do belive in humble, hard earn job. You will never know the feeling of how to work your way to the top if you will jump right away to higher rank. It would be much better if you knew everything in your company, services, product from the basic to the most complex. And besides you will be proud of what you achieved if earn it well.

nope. but i've never had influence before so i've always worked my way to where am and what i have achieved. i remember when i graduated from college, my parents wanted to use their connections for me to be able to land the perfect job but i did not let them. i told them i wanted to get hired for my capabilities, not just because they're friends with the boss. now i can proudly say that i've earned where i am now. and i'm happy. :)

No. Based on an influence to get a job is dishonest, furthermore I would rather if someone would work hard to earn and be proud of what they achieved.

nope. i would see to all that if i got the job, i definitely deserved it. cause if you use your influence, it would be very unfair for those people who are more deserving and hardworking.

If I had influence i'd definitely use it, why not? I think i'd get a better view of the company looking from the top down. Although I don't see anything wrong with your route.I just think it takes too long and if you had a better choice, why not go the easier way?
