Do you approve everyone who adds you?

I have never ask somebody to approve me but I approve everyone.

Intially i was not approving anyone until i know him/her but now em approving everyone

When I receive a request to add someone,the first thing I do is check their profile and read an example of the discussions they have started.This gives me a "feeling" for the individual of whether they may be in it for a quick buck or actually interested in sharing thoughts and knowledge. I must admit I have never asked anyone to become a friend here,but I have made some darn good friends .

I approve all because I think that they seek myself

Yea, I have recieved a lot of requests but I have simply accepted their request and I dont even go into the length of seeing their profiles and I dont even care if they respond to my messages or not. Why rely on anybody to help you. If you have good discussion to raise I think it'll do.

Well I approve people who add me after looking at their profiles. I dont only add people who have a high rating. I just add them and then turn their notifications on so that I know whenever they post a new discussion. After that I check my emails regularly and try to respond to as many discussions from my friends as possible

I approved and accepts all the requests for friends requests as I think its nice to have more friends here regardless they will or will not responses to my topics. I think sometimes they didn't responses to the topics might be due to the topics not interested or they didn't notice the topics.

I see no point in having hundreds of friends on my list, I prefer quality over quantity.. When someone request my friendship I look on their profiles and see what kind of discussions they start, if they start spam low quality discussions i refuse them, also if their interests and what they write about is away from my own interests i see no point in adding them to my list as I will not be able to respond to their discussions..

well, as i m new here on mylot, i havent got that many requests, but yes i approve all of them... as i want to make more n more friends...and the reason why i joined mylot was to be among people and to know what they do... so i would love to make as many friends as i could.

I approve everyone who adds me as their friend.It is an act of being polite to the fellow human being.After all they are not gonna eat me up.

hi humma.. mostly i add all their requests.. coz thro approving friends v can respond only to their discussions and v can earn more.. also by inviting new friends v can grow the mylot population and so i accept all the friend request.

I pretty much do what you do. I look up the person's profile and the type of discussions they start. I also check out the discussions they've replied to. If they've replied to one of mine I admit I am more likely to add them But as long as their discussions are decent and not all s3x related (which has happened!) I will add them. Also if they have only a very low number of points, I do sometimes wait and see how many posts they do within a few weeks. There are some who only have 5 points after 6 weeks - well they are unlikely to repsond to my discussions. Selfish, yes I suppose I have to be. I have to admit that so far I am not swayed by their rating.

I usually approve to everyone who adds me because i like to have new friends on my list friends in order to know about new people on mylot, have a nice day on mylot and happy earnings also.

hmm i dun give it a worry to see wether the person has a good profile or not because at times too many people are adding u! what can u do then!!

I don't approve most people, because we don't have any relationship- friendship or anything else. I feel like I can pretend to be friends, even in the Mylot World, with someone I don't know at all.

You are right humaa. It is necessary to check the profiles whether they are clean before adding them . I too do the same way. I check their topics for discussion, the topics they have replied Finally, I check their best responses. If i like their profile , I add them.Otherwise, I reject them. yo can follow the same methodology also. Cheers Nithya
