How Dumb Can US Politics Get ? I have followed closely the current race for the White House, and am flabbergasted at the vacuity of the policy debate, and the abject inarticulacy of most of the candidates. Blatant posturing, shockingly crude patriotism, meaningless rhetoric, and a paucity of genuine ideas. One has to wonder if the election will be decided on which candidate utters the term "America!!!" with the most Stentorian gusto. Such is the embarrassing banality of the encumbent - the seeming eternity of his non-response to the query as to what mistakes his administration had made, lingers in the mind - the Republicans are loathe to expose him to potentially challenging journalistic inquiry. At least his inability to answer straightforward questions results in silence, (albeit wholly indignified) as opposed to his deputy's profane responses to legitimate questions about potential conflicts of interest. And the world watches this circus with increasing bemusement...

That is what politics is all about. What I question is, did you actually write this statement? It sounds a little like an article out of a news report or news magazine, not someone 24 years old wanting to improve his english.
