How many of you blog here, what are your primary reasons to blog? And do you post frequently and keep updating your site? Well, I have started as a very Passive blogger, I post updates every month regarding the latest developments in the political scenario of India. That is primarily because of my inability to squeeze some time in my schedule to include blogging as a routine ( What with all my exams just round the corner!! ). What services do you use? Is it from blogger or Wordpress, or any other services. I'm currently using blogger, but I'm contemplating a Paid Web Hosting Service, as I intend to post regularly and provide quality content and consequently, make some money out of it using Adsense. But before I begin, I'm doing a lot of research, so that by the time I'm finished with my exams, I can get down to work and have the path clear, atleast to a certain extent. What are your experiences with Paid Web Hosting services, could you suggest any good Providers?? I'm also looking towards the ease of setting up of a blog when you don't have it laid down to you. Incase of Blogger or Wordpress, you have everything laid out on a platter to make it easier for you, but is setting up Ad Channels and all other services going to be a problem if you opt for a Web Hosting Service? Please help me out, I'm in a fix over what to do. The reason I want to use a separate domain name is because I'm serious about it and I have ideas churning in my head, waiting to be implemented. Could you also shed some light on other Affiliate programs other than Adsense? And any tips for this rookie would be most welcome. Thanking you, have a great day!

Until then, I just keep posting in them and trying to improve my blogs.

Blogging has become extremely popular, all over the globe it seems. I did have a go at doing my own personal blog, but didn't have the patience to keep updating it and I think I got fed up with it in the end, can be very time consuming. But I can understand why people do it, and yes the fascination is there but not for me. Hope you get on well with your exams!

Thanks for that mate. I too hope I fare well in the exams. I guess you should start blogging more seriously than having just a personal blog. Start writing seriously about someting which you love. It may be stocks or something about the society we live in. I have a lot of ideas for it and I guess I could help you with it if you want. Regards Sanketh R Adiga.

Well, it's worth the time you invest. Blogs are "IN" in today's world of internet Spammers, you cannot trust anybody ( Any Site in this case! ). Blogs offer that feeling of Personal contact, it's like word of mouth... I suggest you to spend some time developing your blog, you'll come back and thank me for suggesting it. Just why not give it a try... I can help you with it if you wish. Three cheers for your blogging success. Regards.

I have a ton of blogs and they each focus on different things. I have a food blog, exercise blog, personal blog, and ranting blog. The food and exercise blogs are to help me lose weight. I track everything I eat, how long I work out, write down my goals, track weight lose and inches, put in healthy recipes that I liked, and make healthy grocery lists. My personal blog is just to update my friends and family on my life and what is goign on in it. I post a lot of personal photos and tell stories there. My ranting blog is a lot of cuss, complaining, and griping about ignorant people in life. I don't share this blog with friends and family but there are a few friends who read it. Oh I have one more blog filled with ways to make money online.
