About a week ago, i received an email from EMBARQ telephone services (which until recently was SPRINT) confirming my recent wireless phone service purchase and activation. which was strange, because i had not purchased nor activated any service of the sort, but figured it was some kind of scam (here are those stamps you ordered...) and didn't give it too much more thought.
a couple of days later, i looked at the message again, and decided i would take action in case this thing got to costing me something. i asked chris, "you didn't order this, did you?" i couldn't see why he would, he's not even in the country. and no, he hadn't.
so i was meaning to call and figure this out monday-ish since i already had a whole 'nother slew of errands to be run. (i could put all my good intentions in one hand and spit in the other and see which one fills up first...) i'm not very good about calling, first off, and i hate being put on hold, so the thought of calling these people over something like this became less and less appealing to me. i'll probably just let it go...
monday afternoon, UPS comes to my door with a package. i thought: well, chris had just ordered some stuff, and sometimes vendors won't deliver to APO addresses, so he'll ship it to me, and i'll ship it to him. but no, inside this package was-- you guessed it-- a damn wireless phone from EMBARQ.
yeah, i was really, really, really angry to say the least. how the hell do they take it upon themselves to start up a service for me that i had not requested? i don't even use my home phone (except for internet connection) and i definitely don't need another phone i won't use.
i called these people within a minute of opening the box. the customer service guy was really nice and confirmed that there was no record of me ordering/activating such (??!?!!?) and cancelled "the" account for me, because it sure wasn't "my" account.
now this is gonna be a whole big mess for me; i'm getting charged for this only to be refunded later, and will have to make phone calls every month until it is resolved. so far, EMBARQ, not so good....

Well, either he wanted to be able to talk toyou...or he wasg etting a cell phone for you to pay for so he could talk to someone else.
My 'boyfriend' just went out before Christmas & got himself a cell phone & new underwear...well, guess what, he had met someone on the 20th of December & wanted to talk to her & sleep with her. New years eve/day, they became engaged & he is now a born again Christian...Personally, I wish them the best, but she will be as surprised as i was someday & I feel sorry for her. Him, I hope his lies catch up with him some day soon....
