I Practice meditation at home....in the early morning time around 5 A.M. I find it very much interesting.I attended some classes on meditation and its really a great experience for me...Let me share some benefits which i got from meditation. Earlier when i was not aware of meditation i was in a very restless mind always have a type of wavering nature.I used to get irritated very easily and lacking concentration in my studies. As soon as i joined meditation course really i feel like i got a new life.I am thankful to my parents in this matter who in the correct time suggested me to join meditation course. It was a 3 months course. Enjoy each and every moment in your life...Always keep smiling...Have a great day ahead.

Thanks for sharing your views on meditation. I agree that meditation is very good for helping to soothe a restless mind. Like you, I practice meditation at home but don't have the time to do it in the morning, so I practice when I get home from work in the evening. I used to attend a meditation course that was run by a local buddhist group and I found it very beneficial to my meditation practice, but since I moved I have not been able to attend a course and I do really miss it. So how do you meditate? I sit quietly, close my eyes and focus upon my breath.

I do simple breathing exercises and then i will practice meditation sittle alone in the room.first of all to do that the sorroundings should be calm and pleasant then only we can concentrate for more time .When i attended classes i was taught first to sit in your comfortable posture and chant omkara mantra thrice and then we can feel the vibrations all over our body getting from our inner soul.By doing his simple technique i found that my energy levels have increased tremendously and also my perceptional level too.And after that remember your favourite god and try to recollect his image and try to concentrate on his image and sit for some time then you will feel his presence.thats really great feeling. If you practice 10 mins daily it gives us tremendous inner strength. But the most important thing is for what ever time you do do it with full concentration.
