though now its all over, was it really necessary for them to hang saddam at the dawn of a festive occasion like eid? i felt strongly about this when I put myself in the shoes of an individual in the arab world. please people, I would like to know what u all think about this??..

As Saddam's hanging was done under the total supervision of Iraqi government, I think they should be clearing the doubts of many that what prompted them to act so fast? As per international news reports I think those representing US there in Iraq had advised the Iraqi people to wait till the festival is over but obviously that advise was not listened. I understand the pain and sorrow of those who lost their dear one's during Saddam's regime but still had this hanging happened in a better way out of media glare and in a normal way, without the video being leaked, it would have been much better.
