You should use the mouse for typing a letter too. Then you might just change you mind... What can't you do with a keyboard that a mouse can do? I prefer keyboard..

WEll it all depend on ur skills .. if u know all the short keys from key board then its more faster then mouse and more professional aproach ... but like if u working on Autocad .. or u r make some drawing or pic editing software then u have 2 use mouse .... so u cant say that this thing is faster or that ... both have its own importance @ its own place ... do u agree wioth me ... reply me bye ..

surely the keyboard is efficient , i would say mightier than a pen , the keyboard can do the work of a mouse but eh mouse can not be used as a keyboard .

Correction: a mouse actually CAN be used as a keyboard:the "ONSCREEN KEYBOARD" allows you to type using the cursor .

A mouse (plural mice or mouses) is a computer pointing device; it is designed to detect two-dimensional motion relative to its supporting surface and consists of a small case, to be held under one of the user's hands, and one or more buttons. It sometimes features other elements, such as "wheels", which allow the user to perform various system-dependent operations, or extra buttons or features can add more control or dimensional input. The mouse's motion typically translates into the motion of a pointer on a display. The name mouse, coined at the Stanford Research Institute, derives from the resemblance of early models (in which the cord was attached to the rear part of the device, suggesting the idea of a tail) to the common homonymous rodent

According to me u cannot compare both these devices. Coz wat keyboard can do as input device, mouse can not do and vice versa. For eg. we cannt type using mouse.

The Keyboard is more efficient, because I can do everything only with the keyboard, but there are not verry much things to do only with the nouse!:D

we can use keyboard for all the functions, we can even move our cursors from keyboard....so i guess keyboard is the one..

That really depends on what you're trying to do. I think the keyboard is probably the better input device because it is versatile. You could pretty much do anything with a keyboard if you had to. So, if I had to pick one it would be the keyboard.

I am a keyboard user, I am more at ease using the keyboard and have master almost all the keyboard shortcuts and command. But when I edit pictures or graphics I usually uses the mouse it is more comfortable and much more faster thatn the keyboard.

both have their own features, you cant enter text using mouse or u cant perfectly point a small link on the screen using your keyborad so both are good at their own respective places.

Mouse and keyboard have different functionalities. It should have been mouse and keyboard and not mouse versus keyboard. And as we all know you could not really type letters using only your mouse or jump to different sections of a certain page instantly using your keyboard. Unless you are pertaining to the arrow keys on the keyboard on how efficient it is compared to the mouse. Then we have something to discuss.

Keyboard, hands down. But there ARE some things that only a mouse can do (like gestures and drawings).
