Is your manager a good person?

I have a manager that is really a good person, but a lot of my friends tell me really bad about their manager.
Am i lucky?

You could be dude. Main reason is we hate people who question us and monitor us since our managers do so we tend to hate them. But as far as i am concerned though there were lot of cold wars between 4 of my previous Bosses all of them are personally of good nature to me and my career.
