Who comes to mind when you think of legendary bands, and in your country who was or is your legendary band. When I think back, in Australia there was AC/DC, the UK Duran Duran, Sweden had Roxette the US had a tonne of bands.

Acdc was from Australia, Angus and Malcolm young started the band in Australia, back in the 70's, then moved to the US where they meet Bon Scott and ACDC was formed. The rolling stones were formed in Londo England in 1963 not the US, all though they made 99% of there fans and appearances in the US, they are an England band. Kiss is the only true US band you have listed, they were formed in the US, New York actually in 1973. Had there best years and most chart toppers in the late 70's and early to mid 80's

Wow! You certainly are a music guru! The Beatles and The Kinks for the 70s. Duran Duran were fantastic and I still play them now in the car, their greatest hits. Fleetwood Mac is one of my all time favourites. I far prefer the 80s. Was never struck on ACDC or Kiss to be honest.
