Junoon

Junoon is a legendary band of ‘80’s contributed a lot to make their mark in international muzik media. They were the first Pakistani rock band to tour India – creating a big push for peace between India and Pakistan. Junoon was no overnight success. The band struggled financially for the first few years, It all paid off in the spring of 1996, when Junoon scored its first big hit with the song "Jazba-e-Junoon" in 1997. Junoon recorded their album, ‘Azaadi’. Azaadi was released by EMI/Virgin, and became Junoon's debut album in India. "Sayonee", the first single of Azaadi, became an instant hit in South Asia and the Middle East, shooting to the top of all the Asian charts, and staying at the number one position on both Channel [V] and MTV Asia for over two months. my favourite junoon songs are- saaein,meri awaz suno,sayonee,jazba-e-junoon,ghoom.....taara jala but one song;saaien in purticular is in my opinion work of genious. the best thing about junoon is that whatever they do they do it with passion...they bring their super intensity in the song
