Regulating Food Stamps?

What do you think about putting up regulations for foodstamps like they do wic? Making it so you're only allowed to purchase from a list of eligible foods? I try not to judge people, and I know just by looking at them that I don't know their story.. but I can't help but sometimes get a lil boiled when I'm standing in line trying to figure out what I can and can't buy because this month wasn't the greatest month, and then I see 2 carts full of junky junk food and they are swiping their ebt foodstamp card. I saw a young couple go shopping and they loaded up on junk cramp, were giddy looking at their recipt and started talking about how awesome it was that they were saving so much money not paying for groceries, and then hopped into a huge suv.. Ok-I know what you're thinking, mind my own business, it could be a friends car ect ect.. I know.. I know.. but don't you ever just THINK about this sometimes? If it could work for the WIC program, why couldn't it work for foodstamps?

That's stupid in my opinion. Just because someone is on FS doesn't mean they should have their rights taken away. Someone on FS should be able to buy whatever they want with their FS. FS is based on income && they get a certain amount monthly. It's their choice what they buy && if they can stretch it or not. COmmon sense though, would be to buy the cheaper stuff, but in some cases that wont work. && WIC is not FS... they are so different && for different reasons. && to judge someone because they have a SUV && buy junk food doesn't seem right to me... you shouldn't let the small things get to you... && no, it doesn't make me wonder... if they want junk food, then that is on them... if they want to run out of FS before the end of the month, then, well isn't that their problem? FS is income based...
