pesa strain psilocybe cubensis - This is a picture of the P.E.S.A Strain of psilocybe cubensis cultivated at home. Many other species of mushrooms can be easily cultivated at home. The P.E.S.A strain is a hearty deep bluin mushroom when bruised with a medium sized cap, usually comprised of a thick fleshy stem. They provide a highly medicinal experience and were highly regarded by many ancient civilizations for there effects.

Growing your own mushrooms may they be medicinal or edible isnt all that hard. Here I would like to discuss the possibilities of such cultivation and give various methods of doing so. Growing your own mushrooms is not only a rewarding and fun to do hobby it also is a highly educational science. Are there other people whom are interested in such? I will be posting various technical methods of doing so over the next few months. The first series of postings will be aimed at begginers whom are interested in one of the more easily cultivated species of mushrooms within the cubensis varieties.
