Is there a best time for posting a new topic?

Are there times when you start a discussion you find you get more answers? i.e. do you receive more replies by when you post in the morning, afternoon or night?
I find I get more replies late at night

I think this would partly depend on the geographical region myLot users come from. I would guess that most are from the states and if you are in the UK, early night would be around knocking off time for those in US? Maybe that will explain something. *ahem*

It's because of the time difference, remember that especially in some parts of USA where the majority of Mylotters come from there is an 8 hour time gap between us, so when we're up and posting they are sound asleep, and when we're in the land of nod they are up and posting. I always find that late at night GMT about 11pm is a good time to post, also early in the morning, 7am is another great time to post. The worst responses I get to my discussions is when I post at 3 or 4pm in the afternoon.

I thinks that because 'our' (UK) late at night is the US late afternoon/early evening and so the topics have not only a bigger audience to view them but also a longer time for viewing .. as folks get honme from work and log into MyLot for the evening hehehe
