My kids take turns weaving their way in and out of my favor. On any given day, I might have one that annoys me, and another that I'm proud of, only to have this situation completely reverse itself the very next day.

don't have children yet, but sure will have favourites: the most obedient and cool headed of 'em

I have two kids. I have a son that is fourteen and a daughter that is six. I love them both with all my heart. They are both my favorites. There is nothing that I wouldn't do for one that I wouldn't do for the other.

I DO NOT have children but when I do, I want to be like my own parents who went out of their way to make sure each of us felt like we were the favorite. Both of my parent spent individual time with us so we felt we had our own bond and communication open to that parent. I didn't realize this until I was an adult. I really grew up thinking I was the favorite.
