It's another miniature model of a murder scene. That case was solved a few episodes ago.... supposedly. A man sent a video email to Grissom admitting to the killings and making the models and then shot himself on the video. End of a story that last 3 episodes... or is it?
The box arrived on Grissom's desk AFTER he left for what is only supposed to be 4 weeks. He says he will be back (for all of us who have been questioning this). In the meantime, this box will sit on his desk untouched and leaving us all hanging.
Such is the world of television.

If you're talking about last night's episode (1/4/07), yes it was. When he left his office at one point someone noticed it and looked at it funny and asked Grissom if he was going to bring it to {some artsy place}. Then Grissom said something to the effect of {the name of the killer} it being an artistic case. I can't remember word for word, but that's what he was getting at.
If you mean the package that was mailed to him after he left, and we saw it get dropped off, had Grissom's name on it, and it was marked Fragile, I was thinking it was another house. My guess is that he faked his shooting so people would leave him alone, or maybe he's got a relative that wants to keep it going. Any other ideas?

I agree with both you. I was thinking that since this is a tv show, maybe the man who killed himself was making the scale models for the real killer and he wants to let Grissom know he is still alive and wants to play some more. If that is true, how upset will the mystery person get when Grissom does't aknowledge the package for 4 weeks? I love a good mystery!

I agree with Julia i think the man is ready to play some more they can drag this out the rest of the season if they play their cards right.

I really hate it when the shows we love tease us. This is worse for me than Who shot JR! That was the whole summer!

this would be looooooong 4 weeks(without Grissom)! I sure do hope he gets back and tackle the box that was left! I do agree that it might be another miniature crime scene!!!

I think that the boxed droped off when Grissom left is another murder scene. I think the guy that is doing these killings is still alive. That is just how these television shows are. As soon as you think you have solved the case there is a turn and you are all wrong. Of course if Grissom doesn't come back the case will never be solved.
