if the relationship is perfect, then there won't be any cheat on that.
But if the relationship 'looks' perfect, then possibly on one side, they feel bored, need another challenge, courious to see wether there's anyone out there better that his/her partners, and many other possibilities ...

If there is cheating...i don't think u can call it a good relationship. For a good relationship u need to accept the person as and how he/she is supposed to be.
