How Mylot toolbar works ? ? ? ?

I am recently installed mylot toolbar for my INTERNET explorer,but i cant understand that how its work,how i understand it..... Any one please give idea about that....

I tried it but feel that not so useful yet. It's just a program or a tool which help you to keep live connection with mylot. Which you can actively know what's the hot discussion going on. Besides, it also have other interesting function like displaying the wether and temperature of each locality.
