Does a writer needs to be inspired before doing a novel

What inspired you to make a love story. Does being in loved helps you to be make one. What if a Writer like me cannot even make a love life of my own. Can I finish my own novel by not even having a love life of my own. How can you even explain a kiss even if you did'nt have experienced it you self? Do I have to experience all of those thing only to finish my story? What do you think?
