The inaccurate translation and confusion can be cleared up when we trace how the Greek word "Hades" was translated into "infernus" in Latin and then later translated the Latin word "infernus" into "hell" in English.

I just love it when people present themselves as experts and claim to have answers when all they are doing is playing semantical games. What is your point? If you have found such great directions out of one verse, follow your own roadmap. Let me know what the result is after you reach the destination.

Please read Luke 16:19-31 and share your understanding of the story. This is a serious subject that should not in any way be treated lightly as a game. I opened this discussion to interact with everyone and share my understanding on this matter, it is not intended to be an experts' opinion but only from one who has relatively spent more time to study on this subject.
