EUROPEAN UNION will it stay for years?

I`m from Macedonia EX Yugoslav country.Yugoslavia was simular communiti like EU . But ewerything went wrong. I think agreements betwen countries in EU are different but a lot of people says will not last long.
I`m sure that they are wrong YOU?
