This has always bothered me! Why did Sally sell seashells on the seashore when you can just pick them up anyway?

Maybe the hard-working and industrious Sally went out very early one morning and picked every single seashell up. I think her innovative business spirit should be applauded in today's world. Give her a break. In fact, give her a Young Businessperson of The Year Award. I heard her next business idea is Sally's Ice For Eskimos Emporium.

Nice response! I think that maybe Sally shouldn't be promoting capitalism as we all know where this leads to greed and nothing good. Shes's on the beach, she should be getting a tan and checking out the boys (or girls whatever her taste may be!) She's young, she should be enjoying her life and not thinking about shells too seriously. There's time enough for serious shell thoughts when she's a bit older. And as far as the Ice For Eskimos Emporium I think 'Peter Piper' beat her too it after he conquered his Pickle Palace!
