This is a old, and famous question, that is taken from the book 1984. It may have been asked here before but I havent found it yet so here it is... If everybody believes in it, does that make it true?

we all should know, of course, that acknowledgement or denial of a thing does neither make it true or not true = but everyone believing in it really effects the psyche into enforcing the "truth" of a matter even if it were not true. I for one believe Truths are Absolute and are such independently of opinion

Its a very interesting question. It kind of resembles the question, if a tree falls in a forest and there is no one there to hear it will it mka a sound. They are ind of the same becasue they both disregard general logic in liue of a gerneral concensus. If everyone belives it it does that maks it true, of course not. If something is true say a fact or scientific law, that is and thats it.
