Who will they take?

Who will the Lions Pick with the second overall pick in the draft? And who do you want them to take?

I agree with macdaddy1, they would/should take Joe Thomas, but this is my Lions and anything can happen. Quinn and Russell will be good players, but you have to be able to protect hem first.

If Jamarcus Russell goes number one, they better take Brady Quinn. Yeah, you've got to be able to protect the quarterback but use the rest of the draft to get o-lineman. There should be plenty of hot prospects left in the second round and on, but Quinn and Russell won't last. Kitna sucks, Garcia sucked, and Harrington was no better than the stain in the bottom of my kid's underwear. We haven't had a good quarterback in more than a quarter century. We're due to get one.

I doesn't make a huge difference to me, but there will be a lot of pressure on Detroit to take Brady Quinn. I'm not sold on him, but MAtt Millen may need to make a splash with this pick.
Joe Thomas would be a great pick and probably the smart one, but offensive tackle is not sexy. I believe Millen may look for sexy and go Brady Quinn.

Well I think they are going to take Joe Thomas which wouldnt be a bad pick but considering Jon Kitna is our QB and Kevin Jones is hurt well I think if we have a chance to get Jamarcus Russell but who knows
