Have you ever tried to trace your family tree?

yes i have tried and succeded in tracing atleast 5-6 generations above my father's side, asking from my grand parents and other elders .

man i ve thought about this many times, but my grandmother had 11 children, 6 girls and 5 boys, and they elder among these each have 5 5 again...so it is a real big family...we have crossed count 100 recetly, just from my grandfather and onwards....so the thought of fitting so many people ontothe tree scares me and i quit :P

I personnaly have not. My husbands cousin is very into doing that though. She has traced the family tree all the way back to the Mayflower! It's just amazing. Once you get her talking about it - you can't get her to shut up!
