do u have ever experienced kite (boley toh patang) i m from india and it is very popular specially aroun independence day

Yup I have flown kites. I am from India too. I have not only flown kites on independence day but we had competition to find out the best kite flyers. Holy you should see how these people make the strings stronger. They put oil and do things to make the strings stronger. Then they cut the threads of other kites. The last kite flying is the winner.

Why is it popular in India to fly kites on Independence Day? I haven't flew kites in a very long time but it seem like a very good idea.

well what i believe is that flying is symbolising the freedom in air it is sort of expressing urself nd as more nd more frnds get together, it also becomes gr8 sport moreover, this also someway or other enhance religious harmony

independence day?? nvr heard ppl flying kites around this period...neways i dont fly kites but do hold the firkis of my frnds, bro etc....

hi timuss, i love flying a kite.i always enjoy doing that.we cousins wait for sankranti to come.this year i am buying two kites for my cousin children.it is fun and colourfull. bye

yeah.i was 7years old.maybe.then,i quit playing it.and play some "more" engineering stuff.hehe.like remote control car,etc. and,do u know where is the origine of kite????
