What to expect

My mother was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia about 2 months ago. She is currently in stage 1, but I don't know what to expect when her disease progresses. It is going to be hard for me to watch her go through this so I want to be as prepared as possible. Does anyone know what I can expect in the future?
