Have you ever done Jury Duty??????????

Have you ever been called to do jury duty?? I have but they didn't even call me up. They drew by numbers and started to interview people and ended up with their jury before my name was even called. Have you ever done this?? I'd love to hear of people's experiences and honest opinions!! If you were called again would you dread it or look forward to it???

I was notified once that I could be called and got a doctor's note saying my illness prevented me from doing so.
I was contacted a second time and was going to try and do it, but when I heard about all the sitting around and waiting one must go through, I got my doctor to write me another note out of it. I would like to do it, but the selection process can take days.

I dread it. You hardly get paid for it and you need to miss work for it. I was on call when I had it and they settled the case before we had to go. But I lost 3 days of work over it

I've only gotten a later talking about that stuff. I heard it's really boring.
