I like to watch court shows like Peoples court, and the others. But some times they get a little "mouthy". Take Judge Judy, she can't get through a case without telling someone how she personaly feels about them. Do you think the judges assert their personal opinions into where it shouldn't be on those kind of shows?

The People's Court with Judge Joseph Wapner started it all. Then a bunch of other judge/courtroom shows came up. Some of them, I don't know if they were re-enactments of true cases or what. One show that was full of laughs was one called Divorce Court, with Judge Keane (I keep thinking Bill was his first name but Bill Keane was the cartoonist who did Family Circus.), & that show was full of laughs. Judge Judy seems to be the most popular, & it was probably because of her that her husband ended up replacing Former New York City Mayor Ed Koch on The People's Court - same show as the original, but not sure what happened to Joe Wapner.

Judge Wapner retired. And I agree they are just remakes of the original but when Judge Wapner was on the bench he was more about the law and less about his personal opinion of the people involved

i agree, they know what ever they say over powers, only for the reason that if you answer back your likely to lose your case..:]

i myself think Judge Judy is a bit of a 5'2" nothing and has to show how she is in control and is it just me or does she like to tell people how stupid they are and how smart she thinks she is, i figure if she is so smart why did her marriage fall apart.
