is this a persisting problem among many couples in America?

I got married recently and moved to the USA.My husband is an american, born and brought up here. Hailing from a country and culture far different from USA, i find this problem to be unique.. My husband spends a huge lot of time playing games on his pc which he says is his mode of relaxing after work..well,though he has regulated his gaming time since the time i started voicing my disappointments ..i really wonder how can the world war crafts of the world be something so addicting and a craze for anybody.. We love each other a lot and surely with time will be able to get used to each others ways far better and may be in the process i too will become a gaming champ like him... Request for suggestions, and similar experiences if any...
