Clean bath tub before bath

No. Sorry honey, but I do not clean the bathtub before I take a bath. And here is the reason why. Since I have purple hair and the dye slowly washes out with each washing, it tends to leave a purple tint in the bathtub when I am done showering. Thus, I have to wash the bathtub every time before I get out. The Scrubbing Bubbles works best to get the purple out. :) So, while I still have the water running and I am done, I spray everything down and scrub the purple and all away. :) Therefore, my bath is already clean before I get out. ha ha However, even though I know it is clean before I take a bath, I must RINSE the bathtub out. I would hate for there to be any residual bleach or chemical left in the bathtub and then be in the water that I am soaking in. So, before I even take a bath...I know it is already clean. As for taking a shower afterwards...only if I have to wash my hair or I have to rinse the bubbles off of me. Normally, I do not take a bathe to really bathe. I take a bath to soak and warm up because I am cold. So, I do not normally have to take a shower after taking a bath. But I do understand why you would take a shower after taking a bath! Because your sitting in the water that you are washing in...so how can you get clean if it sits in the water all around you? I get it. :) Hence, if I have to bathe...I take a shower. OH wait!!! I have turned a shower into a bath though! LOL But of course, that leads back to that fact that I clean the bath after I am done showering and then rinse it excessively. ha ha

I do wipe out the tub before I bathe but I dont take a shower after I bath in the tub. I dont have that much hot water. LOL Sorry to break the news to you but I dont know anyone who showers after a tub bath. LOL I wont shower with any used wash clothes laying in the tub. That just drives me crazy. My husband will shower with a couple used washcloths in it just to irritite me.

I seen to find my self always cleaning the bath tub before I take a bath or a shower. I really dont want to go into a dirty bath tub either way. But, I do not take a shower after I am done taking a bath. The only time I take a bath is to relieve stress, or to take a bubble bath. And bubble baths really relieve stress! :D

DEFINITELY!!!! I don't want that icky stuff in there with me! lol And I rarely bathe in the tub, I prefer to shower, just feel cleaner, but when I do I always shower after I let the water out. LOL So we're weird!

Yep, me too! And when the girls were little, I always washed the bathtub down when they were done with their baths so that it would be all clean and ready for them for the next time. I also take a quick shower after a bath.... it's like, all that dirty water is all over you now! lol! You have to wash it off!

What I find disgusting is when the person before you had taken a bath & afterwards hadn't cleaned the tub out after themselves. So they end up leaving it for you & then you end up having to clean the tub.. I find that is what truly does get on my nerves. I co-own a house with a relative, & me & my other half live with her.. And she will literally leave her hair all over the tub & not clean it after herself.. And she will leave the dirt that came off of her body in the tub & not wash it out.. So even if she does clean the tub & doesn't leave all that disgusting stuff behind.. I still will clean the tub before each use.. I'm very paranoid like that & would much rather step in to a clean bath then have dirty floaties in the water.. That's just disgusting! . . But I usually will clean it with some type of cleaner & a cloth.. And make sure that is as clean as can be before I end up stepping foot in the tub itself.. I just hate thinking about all the bacteria that could be in the tub if a person was to just hop right in without cleaning it before hand.. So I am a lot like you & I need the tub to be clean before I decide to take a nice hot bubble bath.. Because there's nothing worse then bathing in a dirty tub in my opinion. So I totally know how you feel! . . I'm a real clean freak when it comes to a lot of the things around this house.. To me it's more appealing when a bath tub is clean.. And once it's cleaned you are able to relax more & unwind more without worrying about whether or not the bath tub is dirty.. At least that is how I feel on this matter! . .

i dont use the bath tubs as i dont like to take bathe there.

I guess I could be a bit fussy if other people used my bath, they don't so I am not that particular.

I very seldom take baths, I prefer the shower, mainly because I have well water and it is very hard and smells funny. But when I do take a bath,yes I have to clean the tub out even if it looks clean. And yes, I too take a shower after to make sure I got all the soap off and its easier to wash my hair that way.
