Even if your not a parent, if you had kids would you allow them to watch this movie? If your son or daughter came home with this movie, what would you do? Would you take it away from them? Would you say "if you watch it, make sure Im not around to see it"? Or would you watch it too? I wanna here what you guys think.

A Clockwork Orange is one of my FAVOURITE films as is the book...and I do own a copy of the movie however my kids havent seen it yet though i'm sure at some point they will..my son at least, dont think my daughter would really care much for it...but I'd want my son to be a couple yrs older (like 16 or so) before watching it...Clockwork is actually a brilliant pc of work and a cult classic right along side Rocky Horror Picture Show (which my kids LOVE)

Stanley Kubrick's films generally are pretty graphic in a lot of ways but so many of them are amazing such as Clockwork, Full Metal Jacket (another of my favs)...he also did the Shining which isnt graphic but is yet another classic film....

I like Stanley Kubrick's other films too and agree on CWO cult status, it's often over looked how artistic the film is, and there is only actually about 11 minutes of violence in the whole film.

I probably wouldnt..but not because of the violence, i think the movie is too complex to be understood by children. I'd let him/her watch it only if i was sure he/she was very smart and would be able to actually analize the movie. I'd love to talk about it with him or her also.

I would let my 17 yr old watch it but certainly not my 13 yr old, even though when I was in my early teens I saw all the video nasties around at that time. I saw this film for the first time a few years ago and could not understand why it was banned for so long. What I find scarier is what kids are now downloading onto their phones. Parents have to more aware of what they are seeing from their friends. "Happy Slapping" I feel is alot more damaging. At least with films we can have some control in our own homes.

i definitly wouldnt let my kids watch this movie. I dont think they could understand it for what it is meant to be. I think under 16 is too young.

If the child were under 18 I'd take it away from them, it's a film that is quite hard for adults to understand the point of, children definitely wouldn't understand it and it would be quite harmful for them to see it.

I saw the movie when I was like 10 years old and I had questions..my parents and brothers explained it all to me..so I wouldnt have a problem with a child of mine bringing it home as long as they are old enough to handle it..that would be somewhere around the age of 17..it was pretty disturbing..especially the rape scene...
