You can make a network and take the internet from a computer, to onother. You can share the internet with the other computer, so you`ll have 2 computers and 1 connection

Of course! You can use a router so that multiple PCs can share the internet connection. Most routers nowadays have 4 ports. You can even connect more than 4 PCs on a 4-port router using a switch. =)

for easy sharing your internet connection with 0 configuration, try to buy a router, or if you are a advance user, you can put 2 lan cars, and share the other one

Its better you install the client version on both the computers and change the network connection settings as the internet man has done for you.. and then if your first computer working too slow or it has caught virus then you can connect it to the second computer.. all the best.!

i've seen from your other discussions that you have a router. if you do it's easy. just plug a upd cable in a port of the router (LAN T2 or T3) and then plug it in the other computer's network card. Set the connection to get the IP's automatically through DHCP, and there you have it, both your computers are now getting their IP through the router's DHCP system, and both your computers will have access to the internet. THis is what i have done at home and it works perfect.

I just want to say that I've got four pc's all connected like the above to a router. I'd suggest you try this before you try the complicated stuff being suggested in this thread, especially since it sounds like you are a sort of newbie to networking.

you need 1 hub 2 Ethernet cable and 3 LAN cards 2 for your PC and 1 for your friends PC!! since it is a cable net..u have to make your PC as server..!! then provide internet from your PC to friends..!! or you can avoid expenditure of hub by not buying it..!! and just make p2p connection between your PC and your friends and then connect cable net in your PC..!! and share net..!!

if you want to connect two computers using the same internet connection you would need to have a hub or network adapter card(nac) to nac cable then you have to setup your network using network setup wizard.

if you can get a HUB the problem will be solved just connect the internet cable jack to the HUB and connect the computer jacks to the HUB that it it will be shared between two computers....or else if you have wifi enabled computers then make one computer a proxy server and others as clients.ur issue will be resolved

You can try a network cable between the two pcs forming a LAN (Local Area Network) and configuring the ips in the network correctly you may be able to have internet in the two computers or try to use an wireless router but that may be a little bit more complicated becase you need network adapters in which pc you want to connect with the router.
