anime or cartoon

Eversince, I have enjoyed watching Anime. I'd always prefer watching animes, most of the time I find cartoons to be boring or null. Sometimes, you may laugh but its really hard to compare anime to cartoons. Anime is a life inside a tv, you will be hooked up with the characters. Either you will love or hate them, you will symphatize with them, laugh with them. You will see how they grow, matures and develop their skills. Anime is the best!

i prefer anime. cartoons are more on the lighter side of things. For humor, just for passing time. Animes, the stories they tell are much like artforms. It has more depth. It allows the viewers to think of the story, the plot, how each character should live out their lives.It's like a novel that you can watch.

i prefer anime cause i like each story char, they cute, attractive but for graphic i don't know since cartoon have diferent version of graphic so we can't compare them since they made in their own country but still i choose anime since i can learn it's language too ^^

for me I prefer anime than cartoon, because anime has more emotion stories than cartoon, cartoon usually make only for fun stories, and usually dedicated for children, anime more tends for teenager n youngster or adult people. (eventhough there is a lot anime too for children).

Anime of course! Better storyline, better characters, better musics..... it's better in almost all ways. But some cartoons are good too, although anime is still better.

It depend on what anime But mostly I like anime (B'T X is my favorite) ^^ But i also watch cartoon like justice league, sponge bob. ^^

anime because it has better graphics, better story and it's not for children. still i think american animes (there are a few) are as bad as the cartoons. probably the japanese in the animes makes them the best

I think cartoons usually have the best humor (Family Guy, South Park, ect), but I prefer anime when it comes to action, story, character design, and pretty much everything else. I'm sure there are some hilarious animes out there, but overall I think cartoons are the best in the hilarity department.

In my case, I prefer Japanese Animation over cartoons. I really like how the Japanese draw their characters. And some anime have better plots than cartoons (which are mostly episodic.) ^-^

both. Anime like Blech, CCSakura, mononoke hime, Fruit Basket and a lot more are all Amazing as so as diney cartoons for exemple. A pretty draw and a nice plot they both have... so... it's impossible to choose one.

Suya prefer anime than cartoon, somehow anime is more interesting than cartoon. Anime is not only for kids, there is also an adult rated anime ^_^, but cartoon is usually for kids [spongebob, rugrats, etc]

I don't watch cartoons that much so I go for anime. In my opinion, anime were a lot fun to watch than cartoons. The stories are evn good. That's why I prefer animes over cartoon.

To be very honest, I haven't seen that many cartoons - except stuff like Spiderman, he man and that kinda thing. But I prefer anime far above and beyond those cartoons because the story seems realistic and more importantly, the characters are also believable. There are anime cliches but they aren't as bad as cartoon cliches. And anime is something you can enjoy even when you're older. But well, some cartoons can get annoying later.

Anime is much better then any american cartoon I have ever seen... American cartoon are full of cheap humer (Accept for maybe the powerpuff girls and dexster lab), wheres anime has brilliant humer, story.. Not to mantion the detailed graphics the japanese use...

anime, simply because wheras almost all cartoons are made for children, there is a lot more anime aimed at older veiwers also i think they look cool ;)
