How did you respond when you discovered that Dumbeldore is dead?

For some reason I discovered that he is dead 2 days before the book was for sale.. I don't know how that fact got into the internet, but I still cried when I read that he is dead... I don't hate Snape for that (I still believe that he killed Dumbeldore by his orders).

Jesus Christ...... Who CARES about Harry!?@#!@# He annoyes me through all the series... he's like NOTHING. NOTHING in compare with other characters. But that what makes the books so wonderful. I just had it -.-' As for Dumbledore. For me, it was a little bit of a shock (wait no, it was a BIG shock) since I've read the books from the 4th grade.. I got really connected, and Dumbledore always was the Character I liked the most. So, If you look at it like that, I think I had tears in my eyes, or I dunno ___________' It's too embarrasing already.

I wasn't happy, you can imagine that for sure. I'm really anxious to know what's gonna happen, know that Harry doesn't have a helping and advising hand to count on anymore. Who si he going to turn to? Or is he just going to handle by chance? I think the 7th book is going to be the most thrilled of the all. I hope it's going to be filled with lots of action...at least that's what the end of the 6th one promises...

Well i'm not into harry potter much. I like the films, i can't be bothered to read the books really the whole craze of it i find boring. My brothers a keen harry potter reader and he owns all the books, he's the one who told me about dumbeldore. I have to admit i didn't expect that and i was shocked. my brother on the other hand was pretty mad that they've killed off one of the most important people in the whole story. (aside from harry and co) Kudos! ~Joey

It was sad but it made the book better in my opinion. And now we wait to see if Snape is really evil or if it was part of some plan to make him seem so.

I think there's a major turnaround for Snape in store. I think he's got something good up his sleeve.

I was shocked, but I had a feeling that it was coming, he was one of the last people that Harry really had to depend on, and I think it was that one last push that he needs to face Voldemort. I have mixed feelings about Snape, I haven't decided whether or not he killed Dumbledore on his orders, or if he really is evil. Only time will tell. July 21 can't get here quickly enough.

It was a bit predictable that it'd be him to die in book six I think. Well, he was old, I didn't like him that much, and he didn't mind dying anyway, so I can't say it affected me greatly.

Reading HP #6 and seeing Dumbledore fade away from the storyline truly struck me in a place I didn't think it would. I mean, he was a major character in getting Harry to where he is today! And I am sure Harry will be portrayed at such a loss for what to do next in the final book as well.

I cried and cried. I could not even continue reading it at first (I know, I'm a baby). It was very moving. The pheonix song just gets me every time. I am glad I was not spoiled though because I would not have wanted it ruined for me. It was all a surprise. I do not know what to think about Snape though. Most everyone seems to think that he is acting out of good reasons and I just despise him so much that I have a hard time seeing that. His treatment of Harry is just so horrible that I can't seem to get past it. I guess we'll find out in July!

Although I am pretty sure Snape killed Dumbledore for a reason I still can't help but hate the way he killed him.I didn't like how Dumbledore "pleaded" for his life,or so it appeared like that in the book. I wanted to cry because everything looked so bleak. I mean, Dumbledore is their source of strength and makes you think that there is still hope. But now that he's gone, you can't help but think that there's going to be a bloody battle in the end. If they can kill a great wizard character like Dumbledore, who knows who will be next?
