Being a role model to real figured woman...

I've never been the small framed or sexy girl, particularly at school (where i was constantly teased as the "Fat Girl"). I think sometimes, people also can't quite comprehend what words can do to an insurce, overweight person, because i know, it almost killed me - LITERALLY! But today, 5 years later, after almost every diet possible (yup even the soup diet), i've been able to reinvent my figure, as well as my perspective. But despite my attempt to loose 30kg's and to be "HOT", I am still "Ordinary Jane." I guess somethings don't always change over time. But just the other day, I got a phone call from one of South Africa's leading magazines, FHM, (i think its worldwide too) and told me i had been selected to be in one of their competitions (FHM Home Grown Honeys). One of my friends had entered me, which at first was completely embarrasing, and was something i wanted to keep on the down low. But then i realised, this could be insiration to other "Ordinary Janes" to enter, and hopefully even feel beautiful. SO many of us don't appreciate and hate what we look like, and have no means of changing it. We pretty much have to accept it, no matter what gets said about us. But if we take some risks and a little perserverance, we can adjust a few flaws. We're all beautiful, despite our flaws, its just the world's judgement that has to change. For once, i don't want to look up at arole model, i want to be the role model. The role model for other Ordinary Janes out there to feel that no matter what they look like, they can still make a mark.
If you want to help me get there, please vote for me. This way, if i get into the top 10, i'm hoping all the girls out there (i'm hoping more than just South African girls) will feel inspired to let their hair down, and too realise that if i can go as far as the top 10 - then they certainly can too!!!!
