Children taking knives, weopens and guns into school now is a worrying trend, some feel they have to do this to protect themselves but the amount of attacks in schools is rising. When you are at the airport you have to go through a detector which will trigger an alarm if you are carrying anything METAL. Should these detectors be introduced to EVERY school? Or is there another method schools can employ to stop this worrying trend?

I know some schools in the United States already have these detectors. I think it helps to ensure that all within the school are safe. Now, of course, there are some weapons that can be fashioned out of something that is not metal. If an individual is that deteremined, then I am sure that the metal detectors would not stop those people. However, I do hope that this will be a deterant enough to stop the voilence that seems to be claiming the the schools.
Teachers and teens alike have enough stress to deal with already. It is a day age today that voilence is now in the place where kids are learning to grow into the adults they will become. :(

Many U.S. public schools already have metal detectors and in the larger inner city schools, many have armed police officers patrolling their hallways. It's sad, but until people start teaching their children to not pick on other kids, this sadness will continue.
