What do you think is an appropriate weekly allowance for a teenager?

Ten to fifteen dollars but I think they shoud work so that they would know the value of money.

I think it all depends on what chores they are doing in order to earn the money. Are they just doing 1 or 2 things or do they have a complete list?
If they have a list of a few items, say 5, I think $20 is fine, as long as they do everything and do it well.
