who else loves futurama? it has to be the funniest show ever. the only episode i don't like is when leela is stung by that bee and fry "dies". that one wasn't funny. my favorite one is when bender gets his own show and his theme song is "t.v. party" by black flag. what's your favorite episode?

I don't have a favorite episode, since I like a lot of the episodes. The only problem, is that there are no more episodes to watch. I wish that they would bring it back with new episodes.

I love the show, Matt Groening is a genius for creating two quality cartoons... I don't have a favorite episode, but I'd like someone to make some slurm for me to try!

I can't remember any of the episodes right now but futurama is definitely one of the best cartoons that ever shown. highly recommended, but is not advisable to be seen by children.

i totally agree. i let my 2 1/2 year old watch a little with me one day and he started mimicking everything bender did. definitely not a good role model! thanks for responding!

I agree that it isn't good for children to watch. I have caught my 5 yr old sneeking around to watch it at night, I didn't know he was watching it until he started talking about Bender the robot & Fry & the one eye girl one day, then I caught on to what he was doing. He would volentarily go to bed a few mins earlier than normal, pretend to be asleep, then when I went to bed turn his tv on & watch it. Now I know t keep a check on him & I unplug his cable before I go to bed, that way if he wants to watch tv to help him fall asleep all he can watch is his videos & they are educational hehe :)

yeah, those episodes made me cry too. well not the one where leela meets her parents, but the other two did. that's why i didn't like them. futurama is supposed to make me laugh not cry. i do like the one where fry gets his dog back, but i can't watch the end. thanks for responding!

I feel the same way, there are many Futurama episodes that make me cry. Especially the one with the dog and with Fry's brother and the lucky 7 leafed clover.

the episode with Frys dog, Jurassic Bark makes me sob my little heart out. fantastic programme though. it's funny, but it can also be really really touching. the one with the bee, frys dog and the clover one. all very very touching.

I agree. The end of "Jurassic Bark" was quite heartbreaking, but that just goes to show what a great program it was! The fact that it can pull off its dark, edgy, sarcastic variety of humor that's its mainstay and go and still sneak in some genuinely heartfelt moments that actually illicit emotional responses like that speaks for itself. I've never had an episode of The Simpsons make me want to cry. I also got just a little teary at the very end of "The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings", where Fry ends up swapping hands with the Robot Devil. So, in the end, he has his clumsy old hands back, and he can't play the holophonor for crap, the audience has rushed out to spare themselves from hearing Fry's rotten playing, and Leela's still sitting in the audience, asking him to keep playing because she wants to hear how it ends. And it closes with Fry's horrible holophonor rendition of an image of he and Leela kissing, and walking off into the horizon holding hands.

I remember the episode that you refer to, but I cannot put a title to it. I thought that it was a decent episode, although after seeing it for several times it does get boring. Obviously some episodes will appeal to each of us more than others, but I cannot remember an episode that I did not enjoy. The least entertaining for me was probably the one on mars, where they were visiting Amy's parents and the natives rustled the buggalo.
