Remember Silly Putty? I remember using it on newspaper to transfer the print to the putty. It was squishy and it would bounce like a ball.
Recipe for Silly Putty
Ingredients:
white glue
liquid starch
plastic container with lid
Mix 2 parts white glue with 1 part liquid starch. Let it dry a little before using. Store in air-tight container.

Gee I haven't given Silly Putty for years. I used to love making prints out of the comics and stretching the faces adn stuff out of shape. I really was fascinated by the way it would stretch and then snap apart...lol
I'll have to pass the recipe on to my sister in law for my nephew. Thanks

When we got an egg of it, I too would sit for hours with the funny papers. My brothers would bounce theirs and ruin it by getting it covered with whatever lay on the floor.

I remeber silly putty. It was even banned in my school for a while. It was great to play with. Thanks for the recipe. I think I will make some with my little cousins over the weekend.

Can you tell me what liquid starch you use.
I was telling my colleagues at work about this and I would love to make it for the kids I work with.
Do you use cornflour?
Looking forward to your response.
Thanks
