Help me find the best way to clean my ceiling!

I have an extremely stippled ceiling in my home. The area where I live is very dusty, so no matter what I do, dust collects quickly in my house. The ceiling collects a lot of this and looks awful! But the only way I've found to clean it is by actually sweeping it with a broom. This makes all the loose stippling come off all over the place! It gets on everything, and I just don't have time to keep cleaning everything from the ceiling down every time I clean the ceiling....I need a vacuum cleaner with long attachments but can't afford one right now. Any ideas in the meantime? I would appreciate ANY thoughts on this!

I've looked & looked hun. The best I can find is to gently use a broom or vaccum hose. most say hire a professional or paint over them carefully. sorry I couldn't find you a site with better info. the sites I found said that you can expect some of the ceiling to come off when you clean it this way. They all agreed it was best to just paint it.

well, i guess i'm just doomed to do some major clean up after sweeping it!...lol..I was just hoping for an easier way...thank you so much for looking!
