do you think eating food is for pleasure, filling the belly or a sacred act?

I tend to think eating is an act of devotion or a way to get closer to God (or whoever). it can be a way of making you feel spiritual... so eat slowly and devour your food in an honorable way!

If I have to cook then it it is for the sake of filling the belly, if I go to a restaurant then it is for pleasure.

i only eat when i am hungry and that may be a small once every few days i can`t see the sence in eating food if you are not hungry and that society had dictated that we should eat breakfast, lunch and tea each day there is no need for it

I have the privilege of saying that food is a pleasure. There is plenty of it and plenty of variety to enjoy. Sure I get peckish at times but then I have the pleaure of eating whateve I want.

yeah food is everywhere, but we should not be gluttons! it is a gift that keeps us alive on this earth, just keep that in mind with each bite.

i think food is a pleasure...i always have a rich breakfast, at twelve i usually eat just a sandwich, and for dinner i eat pasta and then meat with vegetables such as potatoes.. food is important in our life, but is important don't waste it...remember!
