Has anyone ever made any decent money from ebay?

I looked at my Paypal account the other day and added up the total amount of payments I've ever received from ebay and it came to just over £2,000, but thats come from over 2 years of selling stuff I no longer needed on ebay. It's still a nice amount though - even though i've got no idea where the money's gone...I probably spent it all on ebay.

Personally I have done alright with Ebay and half.com together. My best run of sales came with electronics I was fortunate to acquire. I work outside of the home part time and if I could dedicate a bit more time to Ebay sales then I would make a bit more money! It can be done. I have a store and that really helps with the listings since I can list things for 2 cents each. Treat it like a business and you will do fine!

Well, I have been a member of Ebay.com for many yrs. now. I have sold many different items on there, and at times done OK, and other times struggled. The main problem with this site anymore, is the FEES. When it costs like .40 cents now I think to sell an item that sells for up to $10 and then the Fee after the item sells, it is becoming really hard to make much on there. I think it has taken the Fun out of it, and making it to where unless you are really making a Business out of it, you will pay out a lot of your profits in Fees... and it is a SHAME that it had to come to this as well.

I tried ebay and I didnt care for it. The fess really start to add up. I also noticed its such heavy competition. Some people make it sound like its so easy to make money on there but I didnt see that. I wish you good luck if you want to try it. Its a litle too ify in my book.
