This is in continuation to a fantastic post that is still going on in full swing in mylot. First of all here is the link to that post: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/556294.aspx I could have added my comments to that post, but thought, that would mess up the focus. So my new post follows. I've participated in different Paid to post forums like you all have done so far. There are forums that pay you for the number of posts you make, and more posts simply means more earning for you in those forums (unless Admin decides to BAN you for SPAMMING), Example: www.Goldage.net. But that is not the case with myLot. In myLot you have to pay attention to the quality of posts to increase your EPP ( Earning per post ). How to increase EPP? 1) Lenght of the post: A one liner or two liner can hardly help you to earn anything more than half to one cent. The post must be lengthy containing substantial information. 2) Relevancy : It is not difficult to check for the relevancy of the replies using automated scripts. So, I think, myLot must have such checks enabled. So higher relevancy will reward you the maximum. To increase relevancy, you must include keywords in your responses. Not too much, as I think (personal views), 100% relevancy will not do any good to your myLot earnings. 3) URL: Mention of live links in your post/replies, I think, will increase your EPP ( Earning per post ). That is quite natutal as it makes the replies most useful. That's all so far as tips go. When I started posting in myLot community, I tried to increase the post count. But since last one month, I've started to focus on quality of posts (keeping in mind the above three parameters) and getting good result in the form of an increased EPP. P.S. This is my personal views regarding myLot EPP based on the observations I've made so far.

Thank you for the pointers. I make a point of not generally responding to a question unless I have something of relevance to add to the discussion. I have combed through some of these topics for a long time before I found something that seemed "worth" commenting on. I wish more people would take that tack instead of posting things like "have a nice day, I hope you get lots of points." what is the point of that? I participate in this forum because I enjoy the interaction, not because I'm sweating that .49 cents I might make. I have my payoff set at $100 for pete's sake. I could care less about the money, but I do want quality questions and quality answers. Thanks again!

Thanks!! I totally agree with you. I am new and have started a couple of discussions as I truly want to see the opinions of others - and why the feel as they do. I have responded to a few that I felt I could add to. I have viewed several, but really had nothing to add, so didn't. I have a question about mylot that perhaps you can answer for me: I know that if someone responds to my discussions, I am notified. But, if someone adds a comment to a response I made, or a comment to a response or comment someone else made to my discussion, am I notified of that as well? I hope so, as I really want to see everyone's thoughts and opinions. While it is easy to monitor the discussions I started, I put a couple of comments in some very active topics and it will be harder to track them manually. Thanks again.

I have been thinking about that Earning rate before though. It's possible, but to think.. it may have been just one of the factors .. or not at all. The idea I have is simply.. the amount of income they received each day.. divided among the people.. and there might be some factors.. such as these things you have posted.. that decides the weight of the earnings of each individuals.

i saw both the post, i am not agree with the explanation given in earlier post, specifically the calculation of score. because we get paid for referral and image upload. when you are calculating the score u just divided the earning by number of post. you might get lots of referral and u might posted a lot of images. so this theory is not looks like very accurate, but definitely will help others. i created one discussion on how the quality of post is measured in mylot.com. not sure never get a response on that. have a look http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/542733.aspx

Thanks for sharing such good observation with us.It will certainly help us in increasing our earning per post. I would like to say that in the above three points..the first and the last was clear but some doubt about the second point. What do you consider relevancy in terms of this discussions ?? What type of words would create relevancy ??

You're great you made your own EPP (earning per post) technique to increase earning and shared it with us. This thing is helpful to all of us. We can do the same as yours now and hopefully my earning will increment as well. I took down note too on giving much attention on relevancy of my posts.
