Tattooing, the process of embedding ink under the skin to produce a permanent design, has been around since virtually the dawn of man. Many indigenous cultures practiced tattooing for both adornment, status and spiritual renderings. Though there has been a recent resurgence in native and tribal tattooing, most tattoos today are done strictly as a way of decorating one's self in an artistically expressive manner. In India tattooing has ancient roots. Tattooing used to be a tool to express intense love or faith of a person. what soever is the reason, persons intend to get tattooed should take precautions about disease and infection.Ensure to use sterilized needles.Decide whether you are mentally prepared to wear it permanently.removal of tattoo is expensive and painful. if you're in doubt go for temporary tattooing

I want to believe that lots of people get tattoos for the purpose of it being a statement, but alot of the time it's not true. Some just go to a tattoo shop and choose a random picture off the wall, and that's not a statement, it's just to say they've gotten a tattoo...I know when I get mine, it's going to have a reason behind it.

to me definitely a statement. an image. something that means something to you. i take precautions with disease and infections by going to a place that has all the tools wrapped and they unwrap it infront of you and also they have to clean the surface which you'll be getting tattooed. they need to wear gloves as well. i still havent gotten a tattoo even though i have wanted to because i cant decide what i want on my body for the rest of my life.
