Are you willing?

Would you be willing, if you were offered $200, to gift your credit card to a safe, trusted site, for a trial offer (credit card would be to verify you were of age). I'm just curious, because I did. I was kind of hoping others would, too...so I'm not the only one. Has anybody done it, or would anybody?

No way on this earth would I give my credit card to anyone for $200, because they could easily defraud you for a larger amount and you wouldn't know it till it was too late. How do you know they are a trusted site? And why would they offer you $200 for this information if they aren't going to scam you? Sounds a bit strange to me and I do hope it works out well for you. Also remember that if there is any fraud you provided the information so you could be held liable for the debts incurred if this happens.

It's actually not the site that you sign up for that takes your credit information. It's the other site. It's called TRUE.com. It's an online dating program that many people use.

I have thought about responding to offers like this that pay much less, but I just don't have the guts. I figure that there is usually some kind of a trial period where you have to call up and cancel and that the people on the other end will give you a really hard time about cancelling. I'm too shy to deal with things like that. I would really love to earn $200 just for taking a trial offer, but there _have_ to be some kind of strings attached for them to be giving out that kind of money. Even $20 is a lot of money if they're giving it away daily to hundreds of people, let alone $200.

Well, there are a couple catches here and there...like you said, there was one offer I did where I had to call them up and cancel, but I promise you, there was no hassle. The second part of it all, is you actually have to refer people to the sites. I've actually just done one site, and I'm waiting for referrals...and I finished my offer without paying, or even using my credit card. You get a couple like that, so it's easy! Tell me if you're interested. The current one I'm doing is trying to get a Nintendo Wii.

No way I will not give the credit card number, don't trust in that, it sounds like fraud to me.

No I don't think I would want to do something like that. I have signed up for a few trail offers using my credit card such as blockbuster and stuff like that but I don't think I would use my credit card in this manner no.

The manner in which I'm talking about are offers like Blockbuster. The site does not take your credit card in any way, but they have offers for which you complete (such as Blockbuster or Netflix) and you can get a free gift.
